Visit in Denmark

From March 8 to March 14, our school's students Katarzyna Bryła, Natalia Nowicka, Iga Flejszman, Aleksandra Matczak and Kinga Suchecka together with the project coordinator Mrs. Agnieszka Tomczyk, teacher Krzysztof Krzysztof Filipowicz and the school director Mr Ireneusz Pietrzak took part in the last international exchange in under the Erasmus plus project "Who wants to be a refugee?".

The first part of the visit consisted in the integration of students from four countries with their families and hosts. Our students had the opportunity to try Danish cuisine, see the customs prevailing in the Danes' homes, integrate with pupils from a Danish school and, above all, develop English.
The next part is the experiences and experiences that the students could get and experience this time in Denmark at the Flakkebierg Efterskole school.

During the trip, further project tasks were carried out in English, among others presentation of our school, presentation combined with a show of famous people and ways to disseminate project activities. Together with the project's coordinator, the students eagerly performed in front of a large audience, acquainting the people they collected, what great people known all over the world are of Polish origin and what they did in their lives that they became so famous. During their stay in Denmark, all participants of the project had the opportunity to become more familiar with the topic during group classes, visit a language school for immigrants and refugees, meet refugees in an organization helping other refugees as well as during music classes creating their own songs describing the immigration problem.

It was an excellent opportunity to strengthen the ties between pupils and teachers in Poland, Denmark, Italy, Bulgaria and Turkey. A visit to Denmark will certainly remain in our memory for a long time.
