The project will be implemented for two years from 01/09/2017 to 31/08/2019

Transnational Meeting in Slagelse- Denmark

The first International Meeting of school representatives took place on November 21-24. 2017. The headmasters and teachers from Denmark, Poland, Turkey, Bulgaria and Italy worked together on the most important aspects through which the project will be implemented. Our school- Polish school- was represented by: the headmaster Mr. Ireneusz Pietrzak, Ms. Elisabeth Matyjasz and Mrs Agnes Węclewska the coordinator of the project.
During the three-day meetings the ways of financing individual project tasks was established. The teams discussed and agreed on the dates of the other meetings and also distributed all project tasks that will be implemented in the period 2017-2019. Each of the participants presented two presentations showing the situation of refugees in a given country, as well as we could find out what the education system in each country is and how each school looks and works. During the presentation, the film with the recording of our children was so entertaining that Agnes had to teach the participants the songs.
The hosts of the meeting, Joshua Young and Kirsten Bruun, organized a trip for us throughout the school building and the special guides were the students themselves. Thanks to this, we saw that students are very open to new experiences and also how everyday life and learning at Flakkebjerg Efterskole looks like.
The next meeting this time with the participation of our students will take place in March 2018 in Italy in Pescara.
